Once Upon A Time...

I know I left every one hanging when I didn't say if I got a date to the IWA formal...Well... I did!

I asked Backwoods Boy at country dancing at the Funpark, and he said he wasn't sure if he could go so he said he would get back to me. He finally answered me at church the next Sunday (there was much stress inbetween) and he said YES!! I was so happy!! Then I went crazy... I was freaking out and I didn't want to go and it was a mess... but I realized I had already asked him and I could cancel!

So I went on with life! I talked to him again at Dancing about who was driving and such, he drove. and we danced that night... it was fun!

Then the day of the dance came... I was so nervous it was crazy! I got ready super early! I felt beautiful, I loved it! He came and picked me up and he held the door of his truck open for me, and we listened to George Strait and he sang along, I'm not sure why but it made me incredibly happy that he sang along! We got to dinner at the Riter Manson and because I am Chapter President I had to help welcome every one. Then we ate, we had lasagina, it was really good. My Bishop had done the table decorations because his wife is our advisor and they just got a new grandson so she was helping with that, the table decorations were childrens books, clocks and skittles. We talked and had a good time. Then we took some pictures. Then we went to the dance!

When we got there we went straight to the dance floor... only problem the only kind of music eather of us listen to is country... and they did not play very much country! But it turned out well! We did dance a lot... the Two-step... my new favorite dance! :D We also went and watch the end of Tangled and when it was over he said "That was all she wrote" I laughed so hard... that might not mean anything to you but it ment a lot to me! He was quoting a country song, "Dear John" by Hank Williams (Sr.) I often quote country songs when I walk and I was so excited when he did! (Yes I am aware this sounds a little crazy... but just wait... it gets worse!) Any ways we I had a good time... and yes I fell completley madly in love with him... I thought I like him before... now I know I love him! I am hopless I know!

It has been way to long!

Hello!

So lots and lots has happened! So this post is going to be crazy!

I changed majors, I am now an Accounting Major! Sounds fun right? Actually I think it does, I know I'm weird!

I was called as Chapter President of the Cumorah Chapter of IWA. This is the last semester ever of IWA it is so sad but I know it will be good.

On March 31 my dear friend Libby passed away. She was only 19 and she had Leukemia. I miss her so very very much but I know she is in the spirit world spreading joy and love! :D

Four days later on April 3 my grandpa passed away from Liver Cancer... April was a very hard month but I pushed though and finished the semester and then May was a dark cloud, ( partially because it rained non-stop) but I am OK with it all now!

Our ward boundaries got changed again and this group of guys called the Cowboys got moved out but because my ward is just amazing they bought a house and moved back in! This was great news because I have a huge crush on one of them! (I'll explain more about him in my next post! :D)

This semester has been crazy! I am in a business communications class, Econ, Spanish, and I am taking Private Piano and Fiddle lessons! I love fiddling I am just horrible at it! ha ha!

My little Sister Ariel turned 8 and got baptized.

My cousin Alice is engaged and I am her Maid of Honor she is getting married next August so we will see what happens, I honestly don't think it will last that long but it could happen.

On the subject of weddings... I swear every one is married now... really! or they were married and now are divorced... which is super sad!

I got called as Institute Rep in my ward! I love it! I pretty much live in the Institute building! It brings joy to my soul!

I am so sorry this is a mess but I had to get a lot of stuff caught up! I know I didn't get it all but in my next posts I will fill in the blanks! (I am really going to try to post more consistently)

I had a dream last night that compared men to rocks... and boys were lava because they haven't formed into men yet like lava hasn't formed into rocks... it was the weirdest dream ever!

IWA Spring Formal

So I decied to ask Easton to the IWA Spring Formal this year. I was totally terrifyed! but luckly Loreali told me what to say and then forced me to do it! :D So I did I asked him, but he had plans to go snowmobiling with his family, it was sad but I was super proud of myself for actaully doing it!

After that I decide I was not going to go there wasn't enough time to find some one new to ask nor did I want to go with some one else but luckly for me, Summer (our chapter President) set me up with Jason. So I called him and we set it up, but I didn't want to go but i was for Summer, she really wanted me to go.

So the day of the dance came and I felt guilty like I was using Jason and I didn't even know him! It was a horrible feeling. Then while I was getting ready for the dance, Jason texted me and asked me what color my dress was so he could wear a matching tie and all of a sudden I was excited and all the weird feelingness went away and I was so so happy!

He got lost (like every one else in the world)trying to find my house but when he finally came to my door and I answered and saw him! I was even more excited because he is cute! :D so we went to the Ritter Manson for dinner, and I got us lost again... but we eventually got there and had an amazing dinner, untill I dropped a chocolate coverd strawberry on Morgan's dress I felt so bad, but we got it all cleaned up and all was well again.

Then we went to the dance and had a blast!! :D We tried to country Swing but I was in heels so I took them off... and Jason was like a foot taller than me so that didn't work out but it was still lots of fun!

Then when we left it started to snow! I had the most amazing time ever at the dance it was truly the best date I have ever been on in my life! :D

Dead Week, Shopping, P-party, and a HO HO HO Down!

So the next week was No Test Week or as it is more commonly known by students Dead Week.
I turned in my last Math 2020 assignments... SO EXCITING!

For Family Home Evening we went Sub-for-Santa shopping, Bridget had to work and Gracie was sick and Carmon wasn't answering her phone, so my dad had to drive me...
So anyways when I finally got there, I got into a group with Easton and Cassey. Easton is a crazy driver!! I like it though! I'm weird! I know! We had six kids to buy for! it was crazy! so we bought them shoes and pants and shirts and toys it was lots of fun! then when we were waiting for it all to be bought, Easton went and sat at Subway (we were at Wal-mart.) So I went and sat with him, then another guy came and sat with us then Morgan came over too! We sat and talked and laughed, then we went to the Wagner's and sorted out all the stuff. Then we had hot chocolate... it had like cinnamon and stuff in it... it was good but I like just straight up chocolate hot chocolate and if there is a flavor in it then it came in the mix! I'm boring like that! Then Morgan gave me a ride home.


For IWA, on Tuesday, we had our P-party where we wore our PJ's (or Jim-Jams as I usually call them), eat food that started with P and made Christmas tree ornaments, except mine just went on my tack board. Lorelai and Summer decided to have a paint war it was pretty funny! I drove some of the girls there and back and because I'm a big baby I refused to go on main street... so it took us for ever and now I'm sure they think I'm crazy... but then again I am crazy!


Then on Wednesday I went dancing! it was lots of fun... wow that sounds exciting doesn't it... but that's what I get for not writing this sooner!

Thursday was the day of the Western Swing Club Winter Social... the HO HO HO Down! That was tons of fun!! Lorelai and Summer were there and we had way to much fun!! Lorelai (who is my best friend... we had a class together last year and we also do IWA together... I don't know if I've explained that yet... oh well) and I were crazy people... it was AWESOME POSSUM!


After that I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything exciting... ok so I really just don't remember all the rest of what I did that week... ;D

Auctions, Christmas Trees, and IWA Meetings!

The week after Thanksgiving was a crazy week!! Oh my! I started babysitting for some family friends every Tuesday and thursday after institute! It is a lot of fun! I love it!
We had an Auction for Sub-for-Santa for Family Home Evening in my ward. I was auctioning off a Personalized Cake (because I love to decorate cakes... I should put some of my designs on here...) and also Christmas Tree decorating. I got a loaf of  bread for 20 dollars! It was very yummy! We made over $2,500! It was amazing! The second Councilor in the bishopric's wife ( Sis. Wagner) bought the Christmas Tree decorating so on Tuesday after babysitting I went to her house and we eat pizza played with her daughter's dog that she was babysitting then I started on the tree... holy cow! There was a lot of stuff that I would have never even dreamed of ever putting on a Christmas tree! She hasn't gotten out the Christmas stuff in 2 years because the last to Christmases they were away. So eventually she just told me to give up and then on Thursday we would get more people to come and we could all do it together! So I did! But then her daughter came and did it on Wednesday!
On Wednesday I had IWA meetings first it was the IC meeting where we (the 1st Councilors) planed the INSTITUTE OPEN HOUSE!! It is going to be amazing! It is Country Western themed (I literally screamed when I read the E-mail that said that!) and we are going to turn the Cultural Hall of the Institute in to a Barn!
Then we had our chapter presidency meeting... where we got a little hyper and started putting a P and the beginning of every word! Then we had to run and change into our skirts and go to the IWA Christmas fireside! It was really good then after we had hot chocolate! Then I got to find out who the new Cumorah president is!! There was only 3 of us who knew at the time! It was very exciting!
 The rest of the week and weekend I did homework...

"I was gonna let myself pull it!" (said a cute little girl on the bus who was upset that her friend pulled the cord to request a stop!)

IWA FALL CASUAL CANDYLAND DANCE!

This was the most amazing dance I've ever been to!! I was set up by Heather with Kent. First we had dinner at the Toaster with the rest of my chapter. We eat Chicken cordon blu, mashed potatoes, salad and a roll, with Key Lime cheesecake for dessert! It was yummy! Then we had  5 min talent show where as couples we had to come up with a talent, we decided to combine with another couple and we did a magic show, the other couple said " we are masters of disguise and we will show you!" then they ran to go up stage then when they were out of sight we ran on! It was pretty fun! Then we walked over to the institute building with Carmon and her date once there we danced with Lorelai and Amanda and Lorelai's friend. We were both really awkward dancers so we decided to go watch Willy Wanka's Chocolate Factory and talked! it was lots of fun, then the fire alarm went off and every one just stood around for like 20 min because no one could take it seriously because it sounded like a slide whistle... not the best choice for a fire alarm sound! We found out that someone burned the popcorn and that set off the fire alarm. We then ran into Kent's roommates and their dates so we danced with them for a while and did this really weird but fun 70's line dance then we went to get a drink of water and we ran into Kent's cousin and we played Harry Potter Uno and then we decided to go home and just before we left Kent said to me "Do you want a kiss?" I was totally freaked out and I said "what?" then he handed me a Hersey's Kiss!! It was so cute! then we walked back to the toaster where my van was parked then I went home!! it was honestly the best date I have ever been on I loved it!! :D

"I can't take the slide whistle fire alarm seriously!"

No More Zombies, Dentist, Girl Things, Stupid Stats classes and IWA Dances! (If I write more often then my posts would have shorter names!)

Hey so I am so excited that the Zombie V Humans game is OVER!!! Yay!!
Tuesday I went to IWA (Institute Women's association) and we had a missionary activity it was amazing!
I LOVE CUMORAH!
On Wednesday I had an IWA IC (inter chapter) meeting, I got to see my 1st councilor friends!! Then Lacie and I talked and we got home super late ha ha oh well it was fun!
Then on Thursday I went to the dentist at 8:20 am weird time I know but that's when I went anyways I had to get 3 cavities fixed. I watched Cheaper By the Dozen and the whole right side of my face was numbed!! It was not fun then I went to institute, I wanted to cry I felt really weird!

Right now I'm listening to one of my favorite songs it's called "It's a Girl Thing" by Jesse Lee




So it took me like forever (ok like two weeks) to write this!! Ha ha things got really  busy and I didn't have time to finish this! Mostly it was homework school sleeping homework and more homework. This Friday is the IWA fall Casual dance, it is Candy land themed! I'm so excited! I'm going with a guy that one of the girls in my chapter set me up with! :D I'll write about it don't worry!!

This Tuesday for IWA we learned about the stars!! It was way fun and we got glow in the dark stars!

I registered for classes last night... can you say STRESSFUL!! My stupid Stats 1040 class was being... well ... stupid! The first time I tried to sign up for it I forgot to sign up for the recitation so it didn't work then it kicked me out, then I had to get back in and it still didn't work, it said there was a communication error so I finished signing up for my other classes then tried it a couple more times, then I ended up just crying myself to sleep! This morning I planned to get up early and go talk to my advisor about it before class then my mom told me to tried it one more time and guess what it worked!! I got up early this morning for nothing! Oh well I still went to school early and got some math homework done that had to be done on a computer program that I don't have at home so I had to use the computers on campus!

Cami (the Cumorah chapter president) couldn't make it to the President and Advisor meeting, so I went for her because I'm the 1st councilor and that is my job! (to fill in for the president!) so overall it was a long day! and I should be at swing dancing right now but I'm to tired... so I really should just be in bed... oh well I'm determined to finish this today! :D

I  have an angry brother! He's trying to fill Laci's (the dog) food thing and it spilled all over... poor brother!! Well I need to get to bed (and do my chores!) So Good Night!

FINALLY!!

Ok wow I'm finally writing on here! and I updated the look of my blog and everything. Ha ha I guess I must just be bored! I actually should be in bed right now. So I've started a new semester and my singles ward... I mean YSA ward is all new(ish) and I love it! It's so exciting! I'm still in the Cumorah chapter of IWA in fact I'm the 1st counceler! Cami (our president) is engaged I'm so excited for her! Except that next semester we will have to get a new president, oh well we'll figure it out and it will be good! It's almost Halloween which means my home-ward Fall Festival is coming up... tomorrow actually. I'm not sure if I'm excited about it or not... I'm sure it will be fun and I'll get to see all my home-ward friends and I'm dressing up, as Daphne from Scooby-Doo I'm pretty excited about that!! :D I'll put pictures up I promise I'm really going to try to do better at updating this! (ha ha we'll see how long it lasts!) but anyways I really really need to go to bed so goodnight!!

A Place in This World

Well I am in college now... it's OK I spend way to much time in the library! and all alone.... but it's OK! I do get to hang out with Bridget every once in a while! It's fun! My life hasn't been all that exciting! ha ha And as far as boys go... I had a crush on an Aggie shuttle driver for a day... and um.... well I am still looking for a guy to even have a crush on let alone anything more! Sad times!  I observed in a 3rd grade class today it was interesting... I have my late class today! 7:30 - 9:30 arg! it's not fun! Nut oh well! I joined IWA (institute women's association) I am in Cumorah it is a blast!! Oh my gosh did you hear about kanye and Taylor Swift! He is a jerk! And Beyonce is my hero! I am obsessed with Taylor!! I love her! In fact I am listening to her right now!! I love Taylor Swift!!!
