So I know this has been a long time coming... ha ha sorry!
So we had the super bright idea of going dancing in Ogden because we never have before. I, being me, thought we would meet attractive Cowboys and be married by the end of summer... or something like that. I was a fool.
So we get there and there is like no one there... and those who are there aren't dancing for the most part. So we awkwardly stand around. Also we have to pay like a dollar for a bottled water... total rip off at the Fun Park we get water with unlimited refills for 25 cents... and then this weird guy asks us to dance... ok he is one of those guys who thinks he is awesome and really sucks! he is bad... I hate dancing with him... ok really I just hate him...
No one there knows how to line dance... properly! they are so stupid I was literately dancing circles around them... ME I am not THAT good!
Anyways it was just bad and we vowed to never go there again... unless we brought people we could show of and show those idiots what country night really is!
Next time we went to the Fun Park... guess who shows up... stupid guy from Ogden and he actually told the Bandanna Boys they didn't know where to start a line dance... the nerve of that jerk face... the Bandanna Boys are line dance and Western Swing dance MASTERS!!! You do not question them!
I was furious... I wished I had a gun... no joke!
I'm a little bit passionate about dancing so I get a little crazy! Sorry if this offends anyone at all... But this is my blog and I can say what I want... so deal with it!
Love Always Y'all,
Crazy Country Red-Head

A few days ago I heard this song by Taylor Swift called 22, I have decided I really like it! and that song combined with "Ten Seconds in the Saddle" inspired this list!
22 things to do while I am 22!!
- Ask a guy to dance every time I go dancing, where ever it is! (yes you did read that correctly)
- Ride a bike (I don't currently know how but I will learn!)
- Sit with some one new and get to know them at church every Sunday (Hey it is my calling and a good thing to do)
- Hablaré Español con otras personas. (Speak spanish with other people)
- Once a month take some one out for a treat (This will be fun!)
- Kiss a cowboy (My favorite and not suprising at all!)
- Drive a truck (I have always wanted to!!)
- Go fishing (I have not gone on in for ever!!)
- Have a party with DJ Reverb (This will make my mom and Cam happy!) (oh and me too)
- Go to a bar (yes crazy but fun! and no drinking)
- Stay out all night (I want to have breakfast at midnight!)
- Go Shooting (I have been wanting to do this for ever, it is so fun!!)
- Milk Cows (preferably at 5 in the morning... )
- Work at the Sno Shack (my current dream job)
- Go mudding or mud wrestling (I just want to get all covered in mud)
- "Pay" off my car (I owe my grandma like 200 hours on manual labor)
- Meet an apostle ( I don't know how this will happend but it would be cool!)
- Spend more time outside than inside (I could use some fresh air.. and a little sun... but I will use lots of sunscreen don't worry)
- Sleep under the stars multiple times (I always want to do this!)
- Sneak out (yeah I'm 22 and I have never snuck out... it's about time I be a rebel!)
- Read for fun ( I like never read except for school... but only sometimes...)
- Learn how to play "Cowboy Take Me Away" on the Violin (I just love this song!!)
I put list here to explain and on the side of my blog so that all of you can help me remember to make this next year the best ever!!!

Dear Boys, and such
Wow! So it's a new Semester and that means NEW BOYS! I love it! Elise wrote to other things besides boys, so I'll write a few of those too but I need to write to some boys too!

Love, CCR-H
Dear Your not Hispanic,
Stop pretending, it's quite annoying, and no you do not know more about being country than me... it's in my blood, you can't get it from growing up next to it!
Love, CCR-H
P.S. you have an abnormally large ego... no one likes that... except Shela!
Dear Motorcycle Man,
So I just met you, and it may be very possible you don't like country music (I could change that), and then there's that age difference but I like you... and we are the right height for each other... and my Mom approves... so um yeah, by chance do you like 22 year old Red-head Country girls... because I know one who would love to attend a hockey game with you... :D
Love, CCR-H
P.S. She's me! ;)
Dear Justin's

Dear Cows,
I can not wait until the day I can own one of you, first I need money... and space to put you... and a truck to take you places... :D
Love, CCR-H
Dear Homework,
I wish we could break up... but I need you to pass classes that I need toearn the above mentioned money...

DEAR BOYS! Dancing makes every thing better!
Yesterday was a bad day... but dancing made it better, so I decided I had better write a dear boys post to thank the men who made it better! and add updates on other boys! (and since I have not posted in forever, I will color coordinate it and catagorize it, update, new, dancing ... partially to make sure I got all of them!)
Dear Backwoods boy,
We are so far in the "acting like the other doesn't exist" phase that is is not awkward any more, and I'm ok with that!
Love, CCR-H
Dear Cowboy.
Thank you for being too old for my ward... I like not having to see you anymore! and you should just marry her all ready!
Love, CCR-H
Dear Ward Hottie,
I just wanted to say Hi! :D
Love, CCR-H
Dear Cal-Ranch,
Thank heavens school started again so I could see you at dancing!
Love, CCR-H
Dear Cooper,
so you talked to me... weird...
Love, CCR-H
Dear Matching Hat Guy,
So you are in my ward now... I am over you...
Love, CCR-H
Dear ...
I don't even want to give you a name... that is how much I don't care you exist! Stop trying to flirt with me, you are not my type, I don't like you! and you creep me out!
Don't love, CCR-H
Dear Spanglish,
You have a girlfriend... that's ok... Hay muchos hombres más que me guste más que tú! (there are many guys I like better than you) but you are nice I like that.
Love, CCR-H
Dear Rodney Atkins,
Will you show me how country feels? ¡TÚ MUY HUELES BIEN! (you smell very good!)
Love, CCR-H
P.S. You should wear sunscreen, your constant sunburn is making my inner ginger freak out!!
Dear IMA,
Thank you for dancing with me last night!
Love, CCR-H
Dear Mr. Italiano,
You make me smile when you speak Spanish in an Italian accent! I kind of want to hear you speak actual Italian... it would be romantic... I didn't like you like that till you danced with me last night! You are the sweetest man ever! Like pure sugar sweet!
Love, CCR-H
Dear Route 66.
YOU REMEMBER MY NAME!! Thank you for dancing with me last night!! I love waltzing with you... even though I think you over estimate the length of my legs and you smell good... actually like the Route 66 scent from Scentsy (hence the name)
Love, CCR-H
Dear Blue Suede Shoes,
I used to think you were weird and not attractive... but facial hair does a lot for you!! :D I think you are attractive and I love dancing with you!!
Love, CCR-H
Dear Music Man,
I feel bad I didn't even recognize you and you remembered my name! Thank you for dancing with me!

Once Upon A Time...
I know I left every one hanging when I didn't say if I got a date to the IWA formal...Well... I did!
I asked Backwoods Boy at country dancing at the Funpark, and he said he wasn't sure if he could go so he said he would get back to me. He finally answered me at church the next Sunday (there was much stress inbetween) and he said YES!! I was so happy!! Then I went crazy... I was freaking out and I didn't want to go and it was a mess... but I realized I had already asked him and I could cancel!
So I went on with life! I talked to him again at Dancing about who was driving and such, he drove. and we danced that night... it was fun!
Then the day of the dance came... I was so nervous it was crazy! I got ready super early! I felt beautiful, I loved it! He came and picked me up and he held the door of his truck open for me, and we listened to George Strait and he sang along, I'm not sure why but it made me incredibly happy that he sang along! We got to dinner at the Riter Manson and because I am Chapter President I had to help welcome every one. Then we ate, we had lasagina, it was really good. My Bishop had done the table decorations because his wife is our advisor and they just got a new grandson so she was helping with that, the table decorations were childrens books, clocks and skittles. We talked and had a good time. Then we took some pictures. Then we went to the dance!
When we got there we went straight to the dance floor... only problem the only kind of music eather of us listen to is country... and they did not play very much country! But it turned out well! We did dance a lot... the Two-step... my new favorite dance! :D We also went and watch the end of Tangled and when it was over he said "That was all she wrote" I laughed so hard... that might not mean anything to you but it ment a lot to me! He was quoting a country song, "Dear John" by Hank Williams (Sr.) I often quote country songs when I walk and I was so excited when he did! (Yes I am aware this sounds a little crazy... but just wait... it gets worse!) Any ways we I had a good time... and yes I fell completley madly in love with him... I thought I like him before... now I know I love him! I am hopless I know!
Love,
Miss Crazy Country Red-Head
Sorry this is so late... school got busy!

Playing Some Serious Catch Up Part 2 - January
So for New Years my mom's friend and her family came over and we played rock band and Country rock band. I held the baby and got him to go to sleep. At midnight we ran out side and screamed.. it woke the baby up... oh well. They were going home anyways!
After New Years I had a while before school started (on the 10th of January) I did a whole lot of nothing! I did go dancing the Wednesday before school started and that was fun!
I was really excited for this semester because I am talking Western Swing!! I love it! I am also taking Aerobics, Badminton ( I just discovered that that is how you spell it... I 've been Spelling it Badmitten... oops!), Creative arts, Music Fundamentals and Stats 1040. It is actually a pretty good semester, very busy but not much homework which is super nice!! :D There are lots of cute boys in my Western swing class, and because it is at 8:30 all the boys smell really good because it is their first class and I finally learned how to Cow Boy Cha-Cha. Also my music fundamentals professor is from Manhattan and she went to Julliard and she was so scary the first day but now she is awesome! :D I love her as a teacher, she aways talks about how weird Utah is! And how she got pulled over on her bike! It's so funny!
So This is super short and sweet but hey there wasn't much to say... and I really need to catch up!! :D
Love,
Miss Crazy Country Red-Head

PS Hey it only took me a few minutes to write this one! :D
Also It was Dolly Parton's Birthday on the 19th of January!

Dead Week, Shopping, P-party, and a HO HO HO Down!
So the next week was No Test Week or as it is more commonly known by students Dead Week.
I turned in my last Math 2020 assignments... SO EXCITING!
For Family Home Evening we went Sub-for-Santa shopping, Bridget had to work and Gracie was sick and Carmon wasn't answering her phone, so my dad had to drive me...
So anyways when I finally got there, I got into a group with Easton and Cassey. Easton is a crazy driver!! I like it though! I'm weird! I know! We had six kids to buy for! it was crazy! so we bought them shoes and pants and shirts and toys it was lots of fun! then when we were waiting for it all to be bought, Easton went and sat at Subway (we were at Wal-mart.) So I went and sat with him, then another guy came and sat with us then Morgan came over too! We sat and talked and laughed, then we went to the Wagner's and sorted out all the stuff. Then we had hot chocolate... it had like cinnamon and stuff in it... it was good but I like just straight up chocolate hot chocolate and if there is a flavor in it then it came in the mix! I'm boring like that! Then Morgan gave me a ride home.
For IWA, on Tuesday, we had our P-party where we wore our PJ's (or Jim-Jams as I usually call them), eat food that started with P and made Christmas tree ornaments, except mine just went on my tack board. Lorelai and Summer decided to have a paint war it was pretty funny! I drove some of the girls there and back and because I'm a big baby I refused to go on main street... so it took us for ever and now I'm sure they think I'm crazy... but then again I am crazy!
Then on Wednesday I went dancing! it was lots of fun... wow that sounds exciting doesn't it... but that's what I get for not writing this sooner!
Thursday was the day of the Western Swing Club Winter Social... the HO HO HO Down! That was tons of fun!! Lorelai and Summer were there and we had way to much fun!! Lorelai (who is my best friend... we had a class together last year and we also do IWA together... I don't know if I've explained that yet... oh well) and I were crazy people... it was AWESOME POSSUM!
After that I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything exciting... ok so I really just don't remember all the rest of what I did that week... ;D
